Erika Silva Adams Set To Be Inducted Into Women's Beanpot Hall Of Fame

BOSTON— Alumna Erika Silva Adams of the Northeastern women's hockey team is set to be inducted into the Women's Beanpot Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place during the first intermission of the Dunkin' Women's Beanpot Championship game at TD Garden on January 21. Silva Adams joins Boston College's Dana Trivigno in the 2025 class.

A star for the Huskies in net from 1997-2001, Silva Adams is one of four goaltenders to win the Bertagna award twice for her Beanpot performances, and one of only three goaltenders to win it in back-to-back years in 2000 and 2001. She is the first-ever recipient of the Bertagna award, the honor given to the top goaltender in the Beanpot.

A 1998 Beanpot Champion, Silva Adams' name is still prominent in Northeastern's records. Throughout her collegiate career, Silva picked up 20 shutouts and 61 wins. Silva holds the fifth-highest save percentage (.927) in program history and fourth-lowest GAA (1.89) among all Husky goaltenders.

In her last season at Northeastern, Silva Adams was honored as the ECAC Goalie of the Year, and a member of the All-ECAC team. Silva was a top-10 finalist for the Patty Kazmaier award for the 2000-01 season.

Following her time at Northeastern, Silva Adams was invited to be a member of the U.S. National team.

The Huskies will host Boston College at Matthew's Arena on Tuesday, Jan. 14 in the first round of the 46th Women's Beanpot.
