Cristophe Tellier Signs With Charlotte Checkers

CHARLOTTE – Senior Cristophe Tellier of the Northeastern Men's Hockey team has signed a one-year, two-way AHL contract with the Charlotte Checkers that begins with the 2025-26 campaign.

Joining the Huskies as a transfer for his senior season, Tellier appeared in 36 games recording 18 points, ranking fifth on the Huskies' roster, from five goals and 13 assists. At the conclusion of the 2024-25 slate, Tellier finished with 52 shots on goal and 17 blocked shots.

The Quebec native recorded goals on the big stage twice this season for NU with his fourth of the year coming against Harvard in the Beanpot and with the game-opening goal against eight-seeded Merrimack in the Hockey East Opening Round en route to Northeastern's semifinal playoff run. Additionally, he collected the primary helper on the game-winning goal against top-seeded No. 1 Boston College in the tournament quarterfinals.
 
Additionally, the 6-0 forward concluded his collegiate career with 20 goals and 49 assists for 69 points in 125 career games.
