STORRS, Conn.— The fifth-seeded Northeastern women's hockey team fell in the Hockey East Championship game 3-2 in overtime to the second-seeded and No. 13 Boston University Terriers at the Toscano Family Ice Forum Saturday afternoon.

Jules Constantinople were named to the Hockey East All-Tournament team.
- Boston University opened the scoring with a back post tap-in 4:54 into the first period.
- Their lead was short lived, as junior Lily Shannon found the equalizer with 7:01 remaining in the period. Shannon was assisted by freshman Éloïse Caron and Constantinople. The score remained the same heading into the second period.
- Shannon provided a go-ahead goal for Northeastern with 2:26 left in the second on the power-play. Her second goal of the afternoon was assisted by sophomore Allie Lalonde and freshman Tuva Kandell.
- The Terriers tied the game with an even-strength goal 5:00 into the third period, as the score would remain the same at the end of the third, pushing the game to overtime.
- In overtime, Boston University would find the game-winner at the 4:43 mark to secure the win.Â
- Freshman Lisa Jönsson posted 29 saves. She ends her rookie season with a 17-9-0 record.Â
The Huskies finish the season with a record of 22-15-1.
