Three Huskies Named To Northeastern’s Laurel and Scroll 100 Society

BOSTON— Northeastern student-athletes Kobe Miller (men's rowing), Kevin Ogudugu (men's soccer) and Lauren Rowe (field hockey) have been inducted into the inaugural Laurel and Scroll 100 Society of Distinction — a Northeastern graduate school equivalent of the university's Huntington 100.

Laurel and Scroll 100 and Huntington 100 collectively are known as Northeastern University Societies of Distinction that honor outstanding students for achievements aligning with the university's mission, ideals, values and academic plan.

A New Zealand native, Miller joined Northeastern ahead of the 2023–24 academic year and made an immediate impact on the first varsity boat and in the College of Professional Studies. As a graduate student, Miller brings a wealth of international experience and has become a key contributor to the boat's chemistry and dynamic, playing a pivotal role in the Huskies' success.

A graduate transfer in the College of Professional Studies, Ogudugu provided a spark to Northeastern's midfield, providing solid game sense and speed on the wing. He appeared in 22 games in his Husky career, and tallied two goals and three assists, tallying his final collegiate goal on his senior night last November against UNCW.

A six-year member of the field hockey team and graduate student in the College of Professional Studies, Rowe recorded at least a point in 68.4% of the games she played in. Rowe ended her career as one of the best in Northeastern history, she is in the top five in career assists in program history and became the first Northeastern player to earn five All-CAA First Team selections.
