BOSTON— Sophomore
Tuva Kandell of the Northeastern women's hockey team is set to make her senior national team debut with Sweden at the Women's Euro Hockey Tour in Kloten, Switzerland from August 28-30.
Kandell is one of 22 players named to the roster for Sweden and one of just two players set to make a senior national team debut. Sweden will open play against Switzerland and Northeastern alumna Alina Mueller on August 28.
The Leksand, Sweden native was named a Hockey East Third Team All-Star after posting four goals, 16 assists and 20 points during her freshman year campaign.
