SMITHFIELD, R.I.— Senior Lauren Dupont tallied a goal and an assist to lead the Northeastern women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over the Bryant Bulldogs on Thursday night. The win marked the Huskies' first of the 2025 season.

• Dupont opened the scoring in the 17th minute with her first goal in 2025. Dupont buried a pass from sophomore Lughano Nyondo. Nyondo's assist marked her third of the season.
• Bryant then evened the game at 1-1 before halftime.
• In the second half, sophomore Claire Murray tallied her second goal of the year to put the Huskies back ahead 2-1. Murray's eventual first career game-winning goal was assisted by Dupont.  
• Junior goalkeeper Eliza Teplow posted three saves.

Northeastern will next travel to Brown on Thursday, Sept. 4 for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
