Women's Rowing Announces 2026 Spring Schedule

BOSTON, Mass. — The Northeastern women's rowing team and head coach Joe Wilhelm announced their schedule for the 2026 Spring slate. The season features one race on the Charles River and five races overall.

Northeastern is coming off its 11th-straight CAA Championship and 15th-straight appearance at the NCAA Championships. This season, the Huskies are led by captains Sarah Kaputa, Liv Oyen, and Jorja Shemilt. The Huskies are looking to build off a strong fall performance that was highlighted by a fourth-place finish from the Bow 4 varsity eight, coxed by Isabella Hsia, in a field of 25 with a final time of 14:27.300.

The Huskies will make their spring debut at the Doc Hosea Invitational Regatta on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J. on Sunday, March 29.

Northeastern will next return to the Charles River for the Council Cup against Boston University on Saturday, April 4. The Huskies then head to Overpeck Park in Ridgefield, N.J. for the Woodbury Cup against Columbia and Rhode Island on Saturday, April 11.

Northeastern will make the trip to Vermont for the Lake Morey Regatta to race Dartmouth on Saturday, April 18. Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. is slated next on Sunday, May 3.

The Huskies will once again look to defend their CAA Title on Friday-Saturday, May 15-16 in Cherry Hill, N.J.
