BOSTON— Head coach
Dave Flint of the No. 5 Northeastern women's hockey team has been named one of seven finalists for the 2025-26 CCM/AHCA Women's Ice Hockey Coach of the Year Award as announced on Tuesday.

The award will be announced on Thursday, March 19, at the NCAA Frozen Four at Penn State University. Flint was named the Coach of the Year in 2021 and 2023.

This season, Flint has guided the Huskies to a 29-8-1 record, a Hockey East Regular Season Title, an NCAA Tournament appearance and Frozen Four berth. It marked the Huskies eighth NCAA appearance and fourth Frozen Four, all coming with Flint behind the bench.Â

Under Flint's tutelage this season, six Huskies earned Hockey East All-Star nods, including freshman
Stryker Zablocki who became the first Husky to claim Hockey East Player of the Year and Hockey East Rookie of the Year accolades in the same season. The architect of Goaltender U, Flint has helped sophomore
Lisa Jönsson to be named a semifinalist for the Women's Goalie of the Year Award for the second-straight season.

Flint and the Huskies are back in action in the program's fourth-ever Frozen Four, taking on No. 1 Ohio State on Friday, March 20 at 4 p.m.
