UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The No. 5/4 and fifth-seeded Northeastern women's hockey team fell to the No. 1 and top-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes, 5-0 on Friday evening in the NCAA Women's Frozen Four Semifinals at Pegula Ice Arena.

Ohio State scored four unanswered goals in the first period to take the lead.The second period remained scoreless. The Buckeyes added one more goal in the third period to end the game at 5-0.

Sophomore netminder Lisa Jönsson had 37 saves in the game. 

The Huskies end the season at 29-9-1, making a fourth appearance in the Frozen Four.
