Zablocki Claims Hockey East Player Of The Year And Rookie Of The Year Accolades

AMESBURY, Mass.— Freshman Stryker Zablocki of the No. 5 Northeastern women's hockey team was named the Cammi Granato Award winner as Hockey East Player of the Year and the Pro Ambitions Co-Rookie of the Year for the 2025-26 season as announced on Wednesday.

Zablocki is the first freshman to win both honors since Daryl Watts in 2017-18 and is the first Husky in program history to accomplish the feat.

The Prince Albert, Saskatchewan native was a unanimous selection as a Hockey East First Team All-Star, Hockey East Scoring Champion and member of the Hockey East All-Rookie Team. Zablocki has posted 42 points, tallying 18 goals and 24 assists.

Her 42 points ranks as the fourth-best mark in the NCAA among all freshmen. Additionally, her 42 points are the eighth-best in program history for rookie scoring.

Northeastern is 13-0-0 when Zablocki records a goal. She has a plus-24 rating on the season, the best mark among all Hockey East players.

Zablocki is the third Husky to ever claim Hockey East Rookie of the Year honors, joining Alina Mueller and Kendall Coyne. She is the sixth player in program history to earn Hockey East Player of the Year accolades.
