BROOKLINE, Mass.— The Northeastern women's soccer team fell to the New Hampshire Wildcats, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon at Parsons Field. The Huskies move to 2-2-2 on the season.
- New Hampshire scored twice in the first half just under 10 minutes apart to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
- In the second half, the Wildcats again potted two goals back-to-back to jump out to a 4-0 lead.
- Graduate student Ava Nace scored her first of the season in the 71st minute to bring the final score to 4-1. Nace headed home a free kick from sophomore Ava Gialanella.
- Senior goalkeeper Eliza Teplow finished with four saves. Sophomore Lucy Krumwiede checked in, in the 71st minute for her first career minutes. Krumwiede made two saves in her career debut.
The Huskies have a bye week coming up and will next travel to Harvard on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m.
