Before NU: Spent four seasons with Rothesay Netherwood School and was an assistant captain last year...also played at the national level, as she was part of Team Atlantic at the 2009 U-18 Canadian National Championships, posting a .935 save percentage and earning MVP honors for her performance against Ontario Red...was the Hard Hat winner for Team Newfoundland at both the 2010 and 2007 Atlantic Challenge Cup...played four years of field hockey and rugby.

Personal: Born Nov. 22, 1993...enjoys reading and hiking...plays trumpet, guitar and piano...great uncle Irv Spencer played 21 seasons of elite hockey, including 230 regular season and 16 playoff games as a defenseman in the National Hockey League from 1959-1968...plans to major in biochemistry with hopes of becoming a researcher...Class of 2015.
