Biography
2011: Sat three seat in the first freshman 8+ which took home a bronze at the Eastern Sprints Championship.
Before NU: Originally from Canada, Alex moved to Pennsylvania at a young age. He began rowing at Three Rivers Rowing Club in Pennsylvania during his sophomore year of high school and since has seen many successes in the sport of rowing. His first medal came at the Pittsburgh indoor erg sprints and his most recent is a bronze medal at the Eastern Sprints Championship. Though he sustained an injury which prevented him from rowing in the fall of his freshman year, he was able to recover with the help of the athletic training staff and eventually was an integral part of the freshman crew.
