2011-12: Named the Turfer Athletic Award winner, which is given to the Hockey East player who best exhibits the core values of Turfer Athletics: tenacity, commitment and innovation ... Found the net in two straight games: in a 3-1 win over Quinnipiac on Oct. 15, and then in a 5-3 loss at Princeton on Oct. 21 ... Then tallied assists in two straight games, first on Rachel Llanes game-winner in a 3-0 win over UConn on Nov. 5, then on Ann Doherty’s marker in a 4-2 win at Vermont on Nov. 11 ... Combined with Lucie Povova to find Kendall Coyne to open the scoring in a 5-1 win over New Hampshire on Dec. 4 ... Registered another assist against UNH on Jan. 21, as NU cruised to an 8-0 win ... Found Llanes again in a 3-2 win over UConn on Feb. 4.

2009-10: Led the Huskies with a .222 shooting percentage ... Netted first two collegiate goals--scoring her first goal on her first collegiate shot-- against Maine on Nov. 14 ... Potted game-winning goal at Providence Nov. 20, capping off a four-goal rally to win after trailing 3-0 ... Assisted on Kristi Kehoe’s goal vs. New Hampshire on Nov. 29 ... Posted two assists in a 7-4 win over Boston College Jan. 11 ... Lit the lamp at No. 4 New Hampshire on Jan. 20 ... Scored against No. 8 UConn in the Hockey East Quarterfinals Feb. 27.

Before NU: Played for the Berkshire School and the Mid Fairfield Stars ... Helped Berkshire to a New England championship in 2005-06 ... Captained the Chicago Young Americans Under-14 team and led them to an Under-14 national championship, scoring 147 points on the season.

Personal: Born April 16, 1990 ... Graduated from the Berkshire School ... Brother, Jerome, plays hockey at Hamilton College ... Is currently pursuing a graduate degree in leadership with a concentration in non-profit management with the hopes of entering the financial services field ... Class of 2014.

WHY NORTHEASTERN: "Just with hockey alone we have the three most respected coaches in the game and we play in the most historic ice rink in the world. We are in the most competitive league and we play for the Beanpot, no other league has that.  We are in the city so we can explore, but our campus is designed so students can feel in the city or feel they as are in a campus. The academic support program could help me as a successful student athlete. I started my career playing for the Downers Grove Huskies I want to end my career as a Husky."
