• Finished second overall at the KSC Alumni Invitational (8/30) with a time of 16:38. 
• Part of a team to take first place overall at KSC Alumni Invitational (8/30). 

Before Northeastern: Placed ninth in the mile run at the 2014 Indoor New England Championships … Claimed bronze in the 1,500-meter run at the Indoor Rhode Island State Championships … Finished 13th at the Rhode Island State Cross Country Championships.

Coach Erickson on Garrett Scanlon: Garrett is a healthy addition to our distance group who has limitless potential in both cross country and on the track. Garrett's prep times indicate he has the ability to help the program and create some depth in the 1000m to the 5000m in addition to giving a solid boost to the men's cross country crew. We are looking forward to Garrett developing and making the impact that we know he can make for the program.
