Biography
2009-10: Finished his career with a club-best +20 rating, skating in the most career games (134) of any Husky on the 2009-10 roster…hit the 20-point plateau for his career after registering a career-best seven points, including two goals and five assists…named to Northeastern’s ‘All-Decade Team’ as one of four defensemen on Feb. 26… tallied his first point of the season on Chris Donovan’s game-winner at Colorado College on Oct. 10…assisted on Wade MacLeod’s powerplay goal at New Hampshire Oct. 23…returned to the lineup after missing the last eight games with an injury at Maine on Dec. 12…registered his first-career two-point game with a goal and an assist against UMass Lowell on Jan. 9…scored his second goal of the season at Vermont on Jan. 16, marking the first time in his career he scored more than one tally in a season…registered his second-career assist in the Beanpot Tournament against Harvard Feb. 8…posted his 20th-career point with an assist on Mike McLaughlin’s goal at Boston University on March 5.
2008-09: One of NU's defensive leaders for the third season in a row, posting a plus-14 rating in 39 games...scored one goal and added five assists for six points...1-3-4 and plus-12 in 25 Hockey East games...assisted on Steve Quailer's goal against Bentley on Nov. 8...got a helper on Tyler McNeely's goal in a 5-1 win over RPI on Nov. 29...posted an assist on Wade MacLeod's goal in the first period of a 3-2 overtime win over Maine on Dec. 5...assisted on Dennis McCauley's goal in a 6-3 win over Providence on Jan. 24...scored his only goal of the season in the second period of the Huskies' 3-0 win over UMass Lowell on Feb. 27 and got an assist the a 3-1 win over the River Hawks the next night.
2007-08: Played in 34 games, recording three assists and a plus-1 from the blueline...named Northeastern's Unsung Hero...usually paired with sophomore David Strathman...posted his first assist of the season on Jimmy Russo's goal in a 4-3 win over Brown at Matthews Arena on Nov. 30...assisted on Randy Guzior's goal in the second period in a 7-3 win over Maine at Alfond Arena on Jan. 4...assisted on Ryan Ginand's goal in the second period in the Huskies' 5-4 loss to BU in the consolation game of the Beanpot on Feb. 11...missed three games due to injury.
2006-07: Appeared in 35 of 36 games as a freshman...paired on defense with Andrew Linard for 26 games and Jaques Perreault for eight...scored one goal and assisted on three tallies for four points from the blue line...picked up his first collegiate point as Jimmy Russo put back the rebound of his shot in the second period of a 3-2 win at then No. 6 Michigan on Oct. 28...scored his first collegiate goal in the final minute of NU's 7-2 win over Holy Cross on Dec. 30...assisted on Randy Guzior's second-period goal in 2-2 tie with Vermont on Jan. 12...assisted on Guzior's power-play tally in 6-1 win over Maine Jan. 26.
Before NU: Played four seasons for the Boston Junior Bruins of the Eastern Junior Hockey League, serving as assistant captain for his final two seasons...in 2005-06, scored nine goals and posted a team-leading 49 assists for 58 points in 60 games...also led the Junior Bruins with a plus-41 rating on the season...team went 44-15-3 and advanced to the EJHL championship game...named team MVP...earned first-team EJHL All-Star honors in both 2004-05 and 2005-06...scored six goals and recorded a team-high 38 assists in 66 games for the Junior Bruins in 2004-05, helping the team to a 45-12-9 record and the EJHL title...named the team's Unsung Hero...played 69 games for the Junior Bruins in 2003-04, scoring five goals and adding 21 assists...played in 38 games in 2002-03, his first season with the Junior Bruins, scoring three goals and totaling 10 points.
