Coach Erickson on Michels:Â
"When Melissa joined us on an unofficial visit last summer, my instinct was that Melissa would be a great Husky. As we got to know her, and she us, we all knew this was the right fit as Melissa exhibited traits of a very successful person. She was driven and motivated both athletically and academically, exactly the kind of athlete who is successful at Northeastern. We are elated that Melissa chose Northeastern over many other Ivy League schools and really believe she will have a successful and fulfilling experience as a Husky."
