Appeared in 20 games and made 20 starts...scored her first goal of the season on a free kick at Texas on Sept. 10...assisted on Nicole Gorman's goal at James Madison on Oct. 1...notched an assist on Kerri Zerfoss's goal in the CAA Championship vs. Hofstra on Nov. 5.

2016: Appeared in 21 games and made 18 starts...tallied one goal and two assists...assisted on both of Taylor Caparo's goals in a win over La Salle on Sept. 2...headed home NU's third goal against William & Mary in the CAA semifinals on Nov. 4.

2015: Made 17 appearances and two starts...posted three points on one goal and one assist...made her first collegiate start in a 2-0 win at Rhode Island on Sept. 13...assisted on Breeana Koemans' golden-goal in the 102nd minute at New Hampshire on Sept. 20...scored her first collegiate goal on a header in the 65th minute at William & Mary on Sept. 27.

Before NU: Earned two varsity letters as a central midfielder at Tesoro High School, where she played with current Husky Hannah Lopiccolo...also played for the West Coast Futbol Club, where both Lopiccolo and former NU goalkeeper Paige Burnett played...helped West Coast FC to the ECNL finals in 2013...helped Tesoro to the Excalibur Tournament championship in 2014, and a league championship in 2015...earned the Tesoro Scholar Athlete Award.

Personal: Valentina Soares Gache...born to Gonzalo and Cynthia Soares Gache...has one brother and one sister...enjoys playing the guitar, surfing, snowboarding, and wakeboarding...plans to major in marketing.
