Biography
2019:
- The bow seat for the second varsity four, helped the boat to a time of 8:03.76, claiming fourth in the grand final at the Doc Hosea Invite (3/30)
- The bow seat fot the varsity four, helped the boat to a first place finish ahead of BC and BU in only 7:59.114 at the Council Cup (4/6)
- The bow seat for the second varsity boat, finished second behind Columbia with a time f 7:58.3 at the Woodbury Cup (4/13)
- Was the bow seat for the varsity four as they recorded a time of 9:07.699 against Yale and Radcliffe (4/27)
- The five seat for third varsity, helped her team to a fifth place finish (7:10.389) at the Eastern Sprints (5/5)
- Sat in the bow seat for the varsity four as they placed second with a time of 8:03.983 at the CAA Championships (5/19)
- Was the bow seat for the varsity four as they placed fifth in the C final with a time of 7:28.544, finishing 18th in the nation at the NCAA Championships (5/31-6/2).
- Sat in the bow seat for the club eight, helping the crew to a top-25 finish at the Head of the Charles (10/23)
2017:
- In the bow seat, helped the varsity four to a fourth place finish (7:18.49) at the Murphy Cup (3/25)
- Sat in the bow seat for the varsity four at the Doc Hosea Invitational (4/1-2), finishing fourth in the Grand Final with a time of 7:42.84
- In the three seat, helped the varsity four to a second place finish behind Michigan State (4/22) with a time of 7:35.290
- Sat in the three seat as the varsity four captured the bronze medal at the Eastern Sprints (4/30) with a time of 7:47.41 in the Grand Final
- Was the bow seat for the varsity four at the CAA Championships (5/14), winning the race by 14 seconds with a time of 7:31.288
- In the three seat, helped the 2V to a fourth place finish at the C Final at the NCAA Championships (5/26-28) at 6:55.679 to finish 16th in the nation
- Competed in the Senior Eights at the Henley Women’s Regatta (6/16-18).
Before NU: After three years as a varsity soccer player Savanah joined the Newport Aquatic Center in her junior year under head coach Steve Dani. In her first spring season, Savanah won the San Diego Crew Classic and the Southwest Regionals. She finished the season, rowing 7 seat in the varsity 8 at the US Rowing Youth Nationals. Her talents drew the attention of U.S. Junior National Team Coach, Liz Trond, and Savanah spent the summer in the U.S. Junior Selection system, ending up on the Development Team which travelled to Banyoles, Spain. Hapsic plans to study business with a concentration in entrepreneurship and innovation at Northeastern.
