Biography

AWARDS & HONORS:
  • Hockey East All-Academic (2020-21, 2021-22)
2021-22:
  • Skated in 35 games and posted nine assists
  • Her nine assists mark a career-high
  • Finished the season +21 plus-minus
2020-21:
  • Skated in 25 games and posted four assists
  • Recorded assists in back-to-back games at UVM and vs. UNH (2/19-2/28)
  • Recorded an assist vs. Providence in the Hockey East Final (3/6)
  • Finished the season +22 plus-minus

2019-20:
  • Skated in 32 games and posted four goals and six assists
  • Scored the game-winning goal in overtime to deliver the Huskies their first Beanpot Championship since 2013 against Boston University (Feb. 11)
  • Tallied her first collegiate goal and posted her first multi-point performance (2-1-3) against Holy Cross in the 11-0 win (Nov. 29)
  • Sent the Huskies to the Battle at the Burgh Championship Game with her penalty shot in the 1-1 tie against Colgate (Jan. 4)
  • Recorded two assists in the Hockey East title game against UConn (March 8). 

2018-19: 
  • Skated in 17 games and recorded one shot on goal.

2017-18: 
  • Skated in three games
  • Recorded six shots on goal
  • Made her collegiate debut and recorded three shots against Providence on Oct. 29.

Before NU: Attended Whitfield High School, where she starred in both field hockey and soccer...named Whitfield’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2016...named All-State for field hockey in both 2015-16 and 2016-17...previously played for the Madison Capitols and the St. Louis Blues AAA program. 

Personal: Lauren Annie Mae MacInnis...daughter of Al and Jackie MacInnis...father was inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007 after playing 23 seasons with the NHL's St. Louis Blues and Calgary Flames...has three brothers, Carson, Ryan and Riley...brother, Ryan, plays in the NHL for the Columbus Blue Jackets...Brother, Riley, plays in the Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) for the Valley Wildcats...enjoys hiking, camping and water surfing... Will graduate Northeastern with a communication studies major.
