2020-21:
- Sat in the four seat of the second varsity eight boat in a fourth place finish in the Grand Final at the IRA Championships with a final time of 6:28.4 (5/29)
- Finished over Brown University as the three seat in the second varsity eight boat, crossing the finish line at 5:34.2 (5/8)
- As the three seat of the second varsity eight crew, crossed the finish line 16 seconds ahead of Boston University with a final time of 6:22.6 (5/2)
- Clipped No. 4 Syracuse as the three seat in the second varsity eight crew with a final time of 6:23.4 (5/1)
- Finished ahead of No. 10 Wisconsin as the three seat of the second varsity eight crew at 6:30.4 (5/1)
- Raced as the three seat in the second varsity eight to a 6:25.2 finish over Boston University (4/10)
2019-20:
- Did not compete in the spring 2020 due to COVID-19

2018-19:
- Sat in the four seat for the second varsity, helping them defeat No. 12 Penn with a time of 5:46.77 in the Burk Cup (3/30)
- In the five seat, helped the first varsity to a time of 5:47.36 against No. 2 Washington (4/6)
- Was the five seat for first varsity as they raced to a time of 5:53.6, defeating No. 18 Oregon State (4/6)
- Helped first varsity take victory over No. 13 Stanford with a time of 5:40.56 from the five seat (4/7)
- Raced to a time of 5:55.90 in with the second varsity in the three seat, defeating Boston University in the Arlett Cup (4/14)
- Sat five seat for second varsity, finishing in 5:45.3 to defeat No. 14 Wisconsin at the Congram Cup (5/5)
- Sat five seat on third varsity as they finished first in the petite finals (5:52.362) ranking seventh in the nation at the IRA Championships (6/2).
2017-18:
Before NU: Rowed for Ruderverein Münster under coach Thorsten Kortmann, finishing in second place in the JMA 8+, second in the JMA 4- on the German Championships, and first in both the JMA 4- on the European Championships and JMA 8+ World Championships in 2017 … In 2016, finished first in the JMA 8+ and 3rd in the JMA 4+ at the German Championships and fourth in the JMA 4- at the European Championships … Also took first in the JMB 8+ and second in the JMB 4- at the German Championships.
Personal: Ole Kruse … Born to Elke Markwort and Birger Kruse … His mother, Elke, competed in the eight at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul … Has two siblings, Ida and Sönke … Graduated Northeastern with a major in chemical engineering.
