Offices
The academic center is home to the offices of the director, the associate director, the two academic coordinators and the intern for Student-Athlete Support Services.
Facilities
The academic center has a 15-station computer lab, a study hall/classroom, meeting areas for student-mentor or student tutor meetings, and a conference room for formal meetings and presentations.
Hours of operation
Student-Athlete Support Services personnel office hours are Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tutor and mentor meetings may also be scheduled while the office is open.
Conduct and expectations of student-athletes using the Shanahan Academic Center
The Shanahan Academic Center is the work area for all SASS employees. Therefore, all student-athletes who are in the academic center for either studying purposes or to meet with a member of the staff are expected to conduct themselves in a mature and appropriate manner. The rules outlined for study hall apply to all student-athletes within the academic center regardless of whether or not they are signed in to earn study hall time.
