FACT: Faculty-Advisor Communication ToolsSASS requests reports from professors after the first month of class for all freshmen, transfer students, and those identified by team advisors. At midsemester reports are requested for all enrolled student-athletes.
Â
Travel LettersLetters outlining the university's policy on excused absences are printed each semester for the professors of each student-athlete while in season. Student-athletes are responsible for providing each of their professors with these letters and a copy of their travel itinerary at the beginning of the semester. Professors will be provided information for those student-athletes who sustain an athletically related injury along with appropriate documentation from Sports Medicine and/or the athletic trainers.
Â
