Kristie Gagnon won the overall title with a time of 23:47 on the 6K course and led the Huskies to the win at the Hofstra Invitational on Saturday at Bethpage State Park. Brittany Moriarty placed third in 24:01 and Maura Carten took seventh. Five Northeastern runners placed 9-13 to seal the win. Northeastern scored a meet-low 30 points to beat Hofstra, St. John's and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. The Huskies are back in action on their home course on Friday when they run in the Boston College Invitational at Franklin Park.
