Tegrity
Purpose Of Lecture Capture
The Tegrity Program is designed to help student-athletes who must miss a large number of classes due to athletic travel or competition. Tegrity software allows Professors to record classes and upload them to the course Blackboard site for later online viewing or download.
Tegrity Procedures
• Student-athletes interested in having their classes recorded must fill out the Lecture Capture/Tegrity Request Form.
• The form must be returned to SASS, complete with Professor’s signature, 1 week prior to the first recording.
• SASS then contacts the professor directly to thank them for their willingness to participate in the program and determine their level of comfort with recording logistics and does trainings when requested.
• SASS provides the professor with a laptop, microphone, or webcam if necessary.
• SASS works closely with Academic Technology Services to ensure the smooth working of the system.
• To ensure the continued success of the Tegrity Program, SASS must be an advocate for the program to other campus offices, and work with university partners.
Student Expectatations
Student-athletes are expected to watch all recordings made on their behalf, and are accountable for the material taught during recorded sessions.  This does not take the place of discussing each absence with the professor and making arrangements for missed work.
