Jeanine Sobek - Varsity Club Hall of Fame Nominee

Jeanine Sobek (class of 1995) spent five years on the U.S. National Team (1990, 1992, 1994, 1995 and 1996) and was an All-ECAC selection in 1993-94.   Sobek scored the sixth-most points (159) and goals (77) in program history, and is tied for the fifth-most career assists with 82. Sobek was the leading scorer for the Huskies in 1991-92 (46 points) and 1992-93 (42 points). Sobek also led the team in goals in 1992-93 (21) and 1993-94 (26). She was the assist leader in 1991-92 with 34 helpers and tied for the team lead in 1992-93 with 21.   In 1994, Sobek and the Huskies boasted a 19-6-3 record and were runners-up for the ECAC Championship, which at the time, was the crowning achievement in the sport.
