Debra (Sweeney) Boyer (class of 1993) was a Second Team All-American in 1990, a First Team All-American in 1991, and a Northeast Regional All-American from 1989-1991. She earned First Team All-North Atlantic Conference laurels for three straight years and was named the North Atlantic Player of the Year in 1991.
 
In 1992, she was named Northeastern’s NCAA Woman of the Year for her outstanding athletic ability, academic excellence and dedication to community service.
 
At Northeastern, she ranks second all-time in career assists with 53. In 1991, she posted a team-high 37 points.
 
Sweeney led the Huskies to an NCAA Tournament appearance in each of her four years at Northeastern.
