2018-19:
CROSS COUNTRY 
As a freshman, Hurgoi placed 34th at the CAA Championships (Oct. 26) with a 25:44.50 finish in the 8k race ... Finished first in the sub-varsity 8k race at the New England Championships (Oct. 6) with a 26:00.9 time ... Ran the 5k race at the Battle in Beantown (Sept. 21) in 16:10.3 ... Finished as the JV 3rd place finisher at the Nassaney Invite (Sept. 8) with a 26:47.6 8k race. 

Personal – From Algonquin, Illinois… Plans to major in mechanical engineering and create something to eventually open his own business… Enjoys running, reading, sleeping and eating… Partook in National Honors Society, Rotary Club and Beta Club in high school.

Before NU – Ran track and cross country at the varsity level for all four years of high school … Earned multiple awards and honors including second fastest time in Dundee-Crown history, second fastest in the 1600m and 3200m and school record holder and third in state for the 4x800m … Partook in the Leadership Circle his senior and junior track seasons and as a solo captain his junior year of cross country.
