• Finished second overall at Shawn M. Nassany Invitational with a time of 15:41.3 (9/6). 
• Part of a team that earned first place at Shawn M. Nassaney Invitational. 

Before Northeastern: Former captain of Cornell University Track & Field … Claimed gold in the 4x800-meter relay at the 2012 Indoor IC4A Championships to set a school record … Ranks fourth all-time at Cornell University in the mile run, fourth in the 1000-meter run, and third in the 3000-meter run … Placed second in the 800-meter run at the Indoor High School National Championships … Is a two-time North Carolina State Champion in the 800-meter run.

Coach Erickson on John Schilkowsky: After graduating from Cornell, John has decided join the Husky program in order to utilize the rest of his NCAA eligibility in pursuit of a graduate degree. Bringing the rich tradition of Ivy League success, the former Cornell captain and Ivy league standout is welcomed by our program.
