Personal: Born to Joe and Julie Lerario ... Has two siblings ... Business major ... Class of 2020.
Madigan on Lerario: "Biagio was the captain of the Lincoln Stars in the USHL and he was someone who we were able to recruit about midway through the year. He’s a 200-foot guy, two-way guy, a real tough competitor someone that plays with a lot of passion with high-end compete level, and a real good skater. He’s got stick skills, he’s got the ability to impact the game in more than one way, not just contributing offensively but defensively tough to place against. He’s not a big guy in stature, but he has a big heart and will remind players of Rico Rossi who was a real effective player here at Northeastern. I know that Biagio has matured as a player and he’ll realize the importance of being on the ice and not taking penalties, but he brings us a high compete level. He’s going to bring that intensity in practice and into games."
