Zach Helfant joined the Northeastern Men's Hockey program as the Director of Hockey Operations ahead of the 2024-25 season. He joined the Huskies full-time after three seasons aiding the Northeastern men's hockey team as a student assistant.
Helfant previously worked alongside the men's hockey staff from 2021-24, assisting with in-game and pre-scout video, on-ice practices and skill sessions and creating a digital library for practice and game footage. During his time as a student, he helped see Northeastern to back-to-back Beanpot titles, a Hockey East regular season championship and a berth to the NCAA tournament.
The Vienna, Va. native graduated in May 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics.
