Biography

2009-10: Concluded his four-year stay on Huntington Ave. with 50-career points at defense, including 12 goals and 38 assists, and participated in 129 career contests…skated in 32 games in 2009-10, tallying 11 points on four goals and seven assists…tied with Jim Driscoll for the second-best plus/minus rating of the season at +3…recorded his 40th career point by assisting on NU’s first goal of the season at Colorado College on Oct. 9…assembled a two-game point streak after assisting on Tyler McNeely’s goal at Colorado College on Oct. 10… played in his 100th-career game for Northeastern in the Huskies’ home opener against Bentley on Oct. 16…scored Northeastern’s first short-handed goal of the season against Maine on Nov. 14…scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Merrimack on Dec. 5, his first game-winner since notching the game-clincher against Merrimack in a 3-0 shutout on Jan. 12, 2008...credited with the assist for Tyler McNeely’s powerplay goal at Maine on Dec. 12…notched his fourth-career two assist game at Dartmouth on Jan. 2…notched his sixth assist of the season and tied a career-best four-game point streak against UMass Lowell on Jan. 3…notched his third goal of the season against Providence on Jan. 19…doled out his seventh helper of the season on Drew Daniels’ goal at Merrimack on Feb. 5…lit the lamp for his second-game winner of the season in powerplay fashion at Massachusetts on Feb. 12.

NU's top-scoring defenseman for the second season in a row with two goals and 17 assists for 19 points in 40 games...plus-7 with 41 penalty minutes...posted an assist on Wade MacLeod's goal in a 4-2 win over Alaska Anchorage on Oct. 11...assisted on Tyler McNeely's goal in a 4-0 win over Providence on Oct. 17...assisted on Joe Vitale's first goal in a 4-3 win over No. 1 Boston College on Oct. 18...scored his first goal fo the season and added an assist in NU's 5-0 win over Maine on Oct. 24...recorded assists on both goals of a 2-2 tie with New Hampshire on Nov. 1...assisted on an Alex Tuckerman goal in NU's 5-3 win over Vermont on Nov. 14...recorded assists in back-to-back games against Vermont Jan. 16-17...posted two assists in the Huskies' 5-3 win over Massachusetts on Feb. 13...three assists in a pair of Huskies wins over UMass Lowell Feb. 27-28...scored the first goal of the game in NU's 4-1 loss to Boston College on March 7...had an assist on Kyle Kraemer's power-play goal in NU's 3-2 overtime win over UMass Lowell on March 20.

2007-08: Played in 36 of NU's 37 games, leading Huskies defensemen with 16 points on four goals and 12 assists...paired mostly with Jim Driscoll...named Northeastern's Most Improved Player...notched an assist on Chris Donovan's overtime game-winner in NU's 3-2 win over Providence to open the season on Oct. 19...had assists in consecutive games against Maine and New Hampshire Oct. 27 and Nov. 2...assisted on Ryan Ginand's goal, NU's first of the game, in the Huskies' 4-1 win over No. 6 New Hampshire on Nov. 16...assisted on Jimmy Russo's goal in NU's 4-3 win over Bowling Green in the Badger Hockey Showdown on Dec. 28...scored the Huskies' first goal, the game-winner, in a 3-0 shutout of Merrimack at Matthews Arena on Jan. 12...assisted on Wade MacLeod's goal in the Huskies' 5-2 loss to Providence at Schneider Arena on Jan. 26...assisted on Ginand's goal in NU's 3-1 loss to Harvard in the first round of the Beanpot on Feb. 4...assisted on Ginand's game-winning goal in the Huskies' 4-2 win over Merrimack at Lawler Arena on Feb. 8...assisted on Ginand's goal in the Huskies' 5-4 loss to BU in the consolation game of the Beanpot on Feb. 11...scored NU's first goal in a 2-1 home win over Massachusetts on Feb. 15...had a goal and an assist in a 3-2 loss to Boston University on Feb. 23...followed it up with the game-tying goal at UMass Lowell on Feb. 29, sending the game into overtime; also had an assist in the game...assisted on Dennis McCauley's overtime goal against Vermont in the Hockey East Quarterfinals on March 15.

2006-07: Played in 21 games, scoring two goals and adding two assists for four points...paired on the right side with Denis Chisholm for 19 games...scored the tying goal on a power play, his first collegiate tally, against Vermont on Oct. 14...named Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Oct. 16...got assists against Providence on Nov. 14 and Colgate on Dec. 29...started Northeastern's comeback with a goal in the second period of NU's 3-2 overtime win over Boston College on Jan. 5.

Before NU: In 2005-06, played with former Husky Chad Costello on the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders...coached by former NU assistant Mark Carlson...led Cedar Rapids defensemen with 12 goals and 19 assists for 31 points in 58 games...added 10 power-play goals and one shorthanded tally on the season...helped Cedar Rapids to the USHL's East Division regular-season championship with a mark of 33-21-6...in 2004-05, played for the Valley Junior Warriors of the Eastern Junior Hockey League...scored 18 goals and added 41 assists for 59 points in 51 games...named to the EJHL All-Star second team...played baseball for three seasons at Corona del Sol High School.
