Before NU: Played five seasons in the Central Canada Hockey League for the Smiths Falls Bears (2007-11) and Carleton Place Canadians (2011-12) … Set career-highs during 2011-12 in goals (15), assists (28), and points (43), and was fourth among league defensemen in scoring … Played in 269 career CCHL games, registering 39 goals and 96 assists for 135 points, while accumulating 301 penalty minutes … Appeared in at least 50 games in each of his five CCHL seasons … Before the CCHL, he played for the Ottawa Valley Titans of the Ontario East AAA Minor Hockey League.
