Biography

2009-10: One of three Huskies to skate in all 34 games, tied for a team-best +4 rating and tallied eight points on two goals and six assists…capped his career with 39 points on 16 goals and 23 assists in 118 games played…scored his first goal of the season in a 3-3 tie at Providence on Nov. 21…attained his first assist of the year, 18th in his career, at Dartmouth on Jan. 2 in his 100th-career game…posted his second helper on Jake Newton’s first-career shorthanded goal against UMass Lowell on Jan. 9…recorded his 20th-career assist at Vermont on Jan. 15…secured his fourth assist in a win against UMass Lowell on Jan. 29…scored his first-game winner of the season to beat Harvard in the Beanpot consolation round on Feb. 8…chalked up his fifth helper against Massachusetts on Feb. 13…earned his sixth assist of the year against New Hampshire on Feb. 26.

2008-09: Eight goals and eight assists for 16 points in 2008-09...scored three game-winning goals and was plus-5...assisted on Chris Donovan's breakaway goal in a 4-3 win over No. 1 Boston College on Oct. 18...assisted on a Donovan goal against Maine on Oct. 24...scored his first goal of the season in a 4-2 loss to New Hampshire on Oct. 31...assisted on Ryan Ginand's goal against UNH on Nov. 21...posted a hat trick including the game-winner, NU's first hat trick in four seasons, in the Huskies' 4-3 win over UMass Lowell on Nov. 22...assisted on Chris Donovan's power play goal against No. 7 Princeton on Nov. 28...posted an assist in NU's 2-1 win over Merrimack on Jan. 9...scored the game-winner in NU's 6-1 win over Boston College in the Beanpot semis on Feb. 2...scored twice in Northeastern's 5-3 win over UMass at the Mullins Center on Feb. 13...scored in Northeastern's 4-1 Hockey East playoff win over Massachusetts on March 14.

2007-08: Played in 35 games as a sophomore, scoring four goals and adding seven assists for 11 points...first two points of the season came on a goal and an assist in NU’s 3-2 loss to Maine on Oct. 26...scored the game-winning goal, a short-hander, in NU’s 4-1 win over No. 6 New Hampshire at the Whittemore Center on Nov. 16...assisted on Jimmy Russo’s second-period goal in the Huskies’ come-from-behind 4-3 win over Bowling Green in the Badger Hockey Showdown on Dec. 28...scored in the Huskies’ 4-2 victory over Merrimack at Lawler Arena on Feb. 8...assisted on Mike Hewkin’s goal in a loss to Boston College on March 8...assisted on Russo’s goal in a 4-1 loss to Vermont in the Hockey East Quarterfinals on March 16...named to the Hockey East All-Academic team for the second season in a row.

2006-07: Appeared in 10 games as a freshman, scoring twice and adding two assists for four points...suited up as a center in eight games and at left wing twice...scored two goals on only nine shots...played in his first collegiate game on Dec. 29 against Colgate, then recorded his first career point the next night by assisting on Dennis McCauley’s goal in a 7-2 win over Holy Cross...assisted on Randy Guzior’s game-winning goal in 6-2 win over UMass Lowell on Jan. 19...scored the first two goals of his collegiate career in a 6-1 win over Maine on Jan. 26...named to the Hockey East All-Academic team.

Before NU: Played for the Boston Bulldogs of the Atlantic Junior Hockey League for two seasons...in 2005-06, finished second in the AJHL in scoring with 29 goals and 71 assists for 100 points in just 41 games...named AJHL Co-MVP and a first-team All-Star...captained team to a 33-7-2 record and a spot in the league championship game...named Hockey Night in Boston AJHL League MVP...in 2004-05, had totals of 23-31-54 in 38 games...earned a spot on the AJHL All-Star team...helped team to the AJHL championship...in 2003-04, played for the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL...recorded three goals and 10 assists in 42 games...named Washington Post All-Met High School Player of the Year after leading Dematha Catholic High to the state championship in 2002.
