Biography

2009-10: One of three Huskies to skate in every contest in 2009-10…finished first in defensive scoring and second in rookie scoring for the Huskies with 22 points from the blue line, including nine goals and 13 assists…finished second in the country amongst all freshmen defensemen with 0.65 points per game… totaled 83 shots and demonstrated a disciplined style of play in the defensive zone, accruing only 10 penalty minutes on the year…named to the Hockey East Pro Ambitions All-Rookie team…made his way onto the score sheet in multi-point fashion, recording his first career goal by way of the power play and assisted on Steve Silva’s game-winner for a two-point performance in the home opener against Bentley on Oct. 16…logged an assist on Tyler McNeely’s powerplay blast at UMass Lowell on Oct. 24…attained an assist on Alex Tuckerman’s powerplay goal against Providence on Nov. 20… put together a four-game point streak after potting his second-career goal at Merrimack on Dec. 5…registered his second-career multi-point outing with a goal and an assist at Dartmouth on Jan. 2…named to the Ledyard National Bank All-Tournament team after registering the game-winning goal against UMass Lowell on Jan. 3…posted his third multi-point outing with his first-career shorthanded goal and an assist against UMass Lowell on Jan. 9…logged his eighth assist of the season at Vermont on Jan. 15… chalked up his fourth multi-point performance with the game-winning powerplay goal and an assist against Providence on Jan. 19…attained his 10th helper on Tyler McNeely’s powerplay goal at  Merrimack Feb. 5…tallied his fifth multi-point game of the season with a goal and an assist against Massachusetts on Feb. 13…notched a career-best two goals at Boston University on March 5…closed out his time at Northeastern with a pair of assists against Boston University March 5.

Before NU: Played two seasons for the Lincoln Stars of the U.S. Hockey League...posted 10-28-38 and 11-14-25 scoring lines in two seasons....helped lead Lincoln to West Division Championship in 2008-09...second on team with +16...scored four power-play goals and 12 power-play assists....ten career playoff points in 15 games...played on season for the Texas Tornado of the North American Hockey League....put up at 12-15-27 scoring line and named Rookie of the Year...
