2012-13: Scored his first-career short-handed goal via the empty net in the home opener against Merrimack (Oct. 10) and was the first skater in the country to account for a short-handed tally in 2012-13… posted his first assist of the season with the helper on Joseph Manno’s goal at New Hampshire (Oct. 26)…assisted in Vinny Saponari’s first goal of the season at Merrimack (Nov. 3)…scored his second goal of the season via the empty net against Alabama-Huntsville (Nov. 11)…scored his 15th-career goal against Massachusetts (Dec. 1)…netted his fourth goal of the season against Bentley (Jan. 5)…scored Northeastern’s first goal of the game in a 6-5 win at Boston University (Jan. 18)…posted his fourth career goal scoring streak with a tally against Boston College (Jan. 19)…posted his first-career three-point game with a pair of goals and an assist at Massachusetts (Feb. 19), accounting for his eighth goal in eight games against UMass

2011-12: Returned from injury in his junior campaign and was earned the ‘Unsung Hero’ award afte skating in 26 games…totaled five goals and three assists on the season…notched his first point of the season with an assist on Mike McLaughlin’s goal against New Hampshire (Oct. 14)…assisted on Alex Tuckerman’s goal against Vermont (Nov. 19)…scored his first goal and multi-point game of the season at Vermont (Jan. 28)…recorded his first two-goal game since turning the trick against Massachusetts, posting consective multi-point performances in consecutive games against Massachusetts (Feb. 3)…scored a goal at New Hampshire just 30 seconds into the game (Feb. 10)…scored his first-career Beanpot goal and his fifth in four games against Harvard in the Beanpot consolation (Feb. 13).

2010-11: Skated in 11 games this season and scored one goal and one assist…returned to the lineup after missing the first 25 contests of the season…recorded his first-career Beanpot point in his 2010-11 season debut, assisting on Mike McLaughlin’s second goal in the semifinal round against Harvard (2/7/11)…tallied his first goal of the season at Boston College (Feb. 18)

2009-10: Speedy left winger who skated in 32 contests as a rookie, totaling 11 points on six goals and five assists…tied for a team-best +4 rating and tried 63 shots as a staple on Northeastern’s third and fourth forward lines…registered his first-career goal for at Colorado College on Oct. 10…logged his first-career-assist on Wade MacLeod’s powerplay goal at New Hampshire on Oct. 23…scored his first-collegiate powerplay goal in the 5-2 victory against Maine on Nov. 14…registered his second assist of the year at Dartmouth on Jan. 2…assisted on Jake Newton’s first-career shorthanded goal against UMass Lowell on Jan. 9…notched his fourth assist of the season in a win against UMass Lowell on Jan. 29…scored his third goal of the season at Merrimack on Feb. 5…put away his fourth goal of the season at Massachusetts on Feb. 12…recorded his first-career multi-point game with a pair of goals against Massachusetts on Feb. 13…named Northeastern Student-Athlete of the Week for his three-goal weekend against Massachusetts on Feb. 16…notched his fifth assist of the season against New Hampshire on Feb. 26.

Before NU: Played three seasons for the Sioux Fall Stampede of the U.S. Hockey League...named a captain for 2008-09 season and scored 24 goals and added 10 assits for 34 points...during 2007-08 season Vrolyk posted a scoring line of 16-14-32...team was Clark Cup Champions in 2007...once scored four goals in a game against Green Bay Gamblers....was coached by former University of Minnesota star Kevin Hartzell...was on Team USA in 2006-07 and name MVP of Championship game....on Team USA U-20 team in 2009 which won Gold medal.

Personal: Born Feb. 3, 1989...graduated from Tahanto Regional High School....hopes to play hockey and own his own business...enjoys golfing, fishing, and hanging with friends and family...also played one year of lacrosse...major is Business Administration...Class of 2013.
