2015-16: Played in 17 games, recording two goals and three assists ... Made his season debut at No. 19 Minnesota (Oct. 24) ... Picked up an assist at No. 18 Notre Dame (Nov. 12) ... Scored a goal vs. No. 4/4 UMass Lowell (Nov. 27) ... Recorded a career-high three points (one goal, two assists) against Colgate at the Friendship Four in Belfast, Northern Ireland (Nov. 28).

2014-15: Played in 25 games and finished with five goals in his first season at Northeastern ... Made his Northeastern debut against Vermont (Oct. 11) ... Scored a goal at Quinnipiac (Nov. 2) ... Scored a goal at No. 6/7 UMass Lowell (Nov. 7) ... Scored a goal against New Hampshire (Nov. 15) ...Had an assist against Merrimack (Nov. 29) ... Picked up an assist and had a game-high nine shots on goal against No. 3/3 Minnesota (Nov. 29) ... Scored a goal and added an assist at Massachusetts (Dec. 16) ... Added a third-period goal at Boston College (Jan. 10).

At Vermont: Saw action in six games, posting a goal and an assist with a plus-2 rating ... Had an assist in a 5-2 win at St. Lawrence (Dec. 15) ... Netted an insurance goal against Princeton for his first career tally to help Vermont secure the Sheraton/TD Bank Catamount Cup.

Before College: Spent the 2013-14 season playing for the Coquitlam Express of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) … Helped Coquitlam to the BCHL’s three-team semifinals with nine goals and 12 points in 12 playoff games … Finished fourth in the BCHL in goals (34), during the regular season … Was third on the Express in scoring with 65 points in 50 regular season games … Spent three years at the Kent School in Kent, Conn., posting 87 points in 80 career games … As a senior captain during the 2011-12 season, he led the team in scoring with 37 points (19 goals, 18 assists) in 27 games … Skated in three games at the USHL Fall Classic in September 2011 with the Green Bay Gamblers and registered a goal and an assist … Also played for the North Jersey Avalanche in the Atlantic Youth Hockey League (AYHL) and collected 40 points in 38 games.

Personal: Son of Stuart and Judee Rosenthal … Has two brothers, Eric, a Northeastern alum, and Jesse … Intends to major in business … Class of 2017.
 
Madigan on Ryan Rosenthal: We're excited that Ryan is coming to Northeastern as a transfer student. He is someone that understands what it takes to compete at the Division I level, and more importantly, in Hockey East. His strengths are his skating ability, he has offensive instincts, is in very good shape, and he's someone that we expect to come in and hit the ground running. He's going to be in our lineup, he has the ability to play in all different situations and we're excited that he's going to be a part of our program.
