Before Northeastern: Played the two seasons in the USHL with the Dubuque Fighting Saints scoring 32 goals and 66 assists ... Was named to the All-USHL Third-Team in his final season while finishing third in the league with 58 points and led the USHL with 41 assists ... Ty was also named to the USHL All-Academic Team during the 2018-19 season and was on the honor roll all four years of high school ... He played in the 2018-19 USHL/NHL top prospects game ... In 2017-18 Ty played 54 games for the St. Michael's Buzzers putting up 17 games with 36 assists and was named to the OJHL First-Team All-Prospects ... In 2016-17 had 35 goals and 52 assists in 54 games for the GTMMHL Mississauga Rebels and winning the GTMMHL Championship.
Personal: Son of Paul and Dana ... Paul played junior hockey, college hockey and then professionally in North America and Europe ... Has two siblings including Northeastern teammate and twin brother Dylan ... Class of 2024.
Why Northeastern? "Great coaching staff that I can learn a lot from both inside and outside of the arena ... Strong academic school while offering a great hockey program ... Boston has an exciting big city feel to it that reminds me of home." Favorite memory? While playing U14 scoring five goals in a game and in the OJHL having a three goal and two assist night.
