Before NU: Attended Joel Barlow High School for four years and rowed at the Maritime Rowing Club for five years under coaches Yan and Olga Vengerovskiy, and also served as captain … Captured the gold in the 4x at the 2015 USRowing Junior National Championships, as well as the gold in the 4x and silver in the 2x at the 2014 event … Won the Novice Award following his freshman season in high school … Was also part of the philosophy club while in high school.
