2018-19: 
  • Sat in the four seat with the third varsity, defeating No. 18 Oregon State with a time of 6:06.5 (4/6)
  • Was the four seat as the third varsity earned a time of 5:58.78 to defeat No. 13 Stanford (4/7)
  • In the four seat, helped the third varsity to a time of 5:46.70 as they defeated Boston University in the Arlett Cup (4/14)
  • Sat six seat for third varsity, finishing in 5:50.1 to defeat No. 14 Wisconsin in the petite finals of the Congram Cup (5/5)
  • Sat four seat on third varsity as they finished first in the petite finals (5:52.326) ranking seventh in the nation at the IRA Championships (6/2).

Before NU: Rowed out of the Hudson Valley Rowing Association, placing first and setting the course record in the Youth 1X at the Head of the Charles in 2017 …  Captained his high school and club swimming teams in 2018, was a two-time New York State Section 9 champion in the 200Y freestyle.

Personal: Born to Judi and Jim Burns ... Has three siblings, Schuyler, Desiree, and Hayley … Sister Desiree is a five-time US National Rowing team member and rowed in the first 8+ on the 2010 University of Virginia team that won the NCAA Championship … Will graduate Northeastern with a major in physical therapy and a minor in psychology.
