Biography

2015: Competed against Penn in the first varsity eight, falling just short of the Burk Cup with a time of 5:55.3 ... Fell to Boston University by less than a second in the Arlett Cup varsity eight race ... Came home with a Dreissigacker Cup victory over Brown in the varsity eight race ... Defeated Harvard with a time of 5:45.81 in the second varsity eight race ... Captured the Congram Cup with a win over Wisconsin in the varsity eight race ... Took silver in the Grand Final of the varsity eight race at the Eastern Sprints, defeating Princeton, Brown, Harvard, and Boston University ... Rowed on the first varsity eight boat at the IRA Championships, finishing sixth in the Grand Final.

2013 postseason: Competed at the Henley Royal Regatta in the Ladies’ Challenge Plate, earning a second place finish

2013: Rowed two seat in the first varsity 8+ with dual victories over Boston University, Brown, Wisconsin, Penn, Georgetown, and George Washington … Helped the Northeastern varsity 8+ reach a third-place finish at the Eastern Sprints Championship, as well as a fourth-place finish at the IRA National Championship in Sacramento, Calif.

2012: Sat seven seat in the freshman 8+, coming in second at the Eastern Sprints Championship and third at the IRA National Championship

Before NU: Arrived at Northeastern from New Zealand with two seasons under his belt ... In August 2011, raced a single for New Zealand at the World Junior Championships in Eton, U.K. ... Won a New Zealand national senior club title in a coxless quad in 2011, and the same year competed in the men's under-18 single sculls at New Zealand's national secondary school championships ... Also had a win in the under-18 double sculls for the North Island school championships

Personal: Majoring in psychology and plans to return to New Zealand to continue his rowing career upon graduation
