Before NU: Attended the Virginska School in Örebro, Sweden for three years where he played for the Örebro Sportklubb U19 team as goalkeeper.
 
Personal: Has one sister, Hanna … Major is undecided … Class of 2018.

Ainscough on Jonathan Thuresson: Jonathan is coming from a really good program in Sweden and I think he will give us really good depth and will challenge our current goalkeepers right out the gate. He is 6'3 and has all the tools and the level that he has played at shows us that he has really good pedigree.
