Before NU: Attended Avon Old Farms School (Avon, Conn.) where he played three seasons of varsity soccer from 2011-2013 … Top goal scorer and most points for Avon Old Farms during the 2013 season as a midfielder with seven goals and seven assists … Prior to joining Avon Old Farms, Lehto played for FSA United FC from 2012-2013 and HJK-juniors from 2010-2011 in his hometown of Helsinki, Finland.
 
Personal: Also participated in track and field in high school … Enjoys coaching soccer … Father played professional hockey in Finland and Sweden and competed with the Finnish National team in the 1984 Olympics … Major is undecided … Class of 2018.

Ainscough on Leo Lehto: Leo is another midfielder who gives us a lot of depth in that area. He's a very technical player who played at a good level in Finland and is someone who flew under the radar. We're happy that he gives us a lot more depth in midfield.
