High School: Played three years of varsity soccer at the Beacon School … led his high school team to a victory in the Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) city championship … played goalkeeper for one of the top club programs in the New York Red Bulls and coach Rob Elliott … was twice named New York Post All-Manhattan goalkeeper (2010, 2011), New York Post All-City goalkeeper (2010, 2011), and New York Daily News All-City goalkeeper (2010, 2011) … was nominated to the All-American Soccer Showcase in 2011

Ainscough on Brown: “Max played for one of the top programs in the N.Y. Red Bulls. He has a huge upside to his game, and we think we will be in great shape at the keeper position for years to come.”

Brown on choosing Northeastern: “I chose to come to Northeastern because I saw the soccer program as an opportunity to grow both as a player and a person, as well as compete at the highest level of college soccer. When I first visited the school I knew it was a place where I could fit in quickly and benefit from offerings that both the school and the city of Boston could give me. I can't wait to start a new chapter in my soccer and academic career and I know Northeastern was the best choice.”
