Before NU: Four-year varsity student-athlete at Belmont Hill School under coach Jorge Montoya...captained the Sextants for one season...competed at left back, center back and left midfield...selected as a 2018 Independent School League (ISL) All-Star..three-year varsity track and field student-athlete at Belmont Hill under coach Adam Harder...competed in the 200-meter, 400-meter, 110-meter hurdle and 400-meter hurdle events...played five seasons on the Valeo FC (Newton Centre, Massachusetts) 2001 boys’ squad..co-led the club to the EDP Cup Showcase Championship in 2018...made a goal line stop and notched an assist during the tournament-clinching match...competed on Black Knights FC (Boston, Massachusetts) for 11 seasons...member of the club’s 2016 United States Futsal Federation (USFF) national championship team...six-time regional champion.

Personal: Son of John and Nancy Montanaro...has one brother, Robert...his father, John, served as the Northeastern men's soccer volunteer goalkeepers coach and was a men’s soccer goalkeeper at Marist...his mother Nancy, played women’s tennis at Vassar...his brother, Robert, was a men’s soccer goalkeeper at Bates and St. Andrew’s...related to to Mark Piercey, Northeastern Class of 1986...majoring in engineering...interested in pursuing the co-op program.
