Before NU: Played three years of soccer for Chaminade High School before joining the USSF Development Academy where he was the starting goalkeeper for USSF Academy U16 and U18 Albertson teams … Was named the 2013 Goalie of the Year at Albertson Soccer Academy and the Interregional Showcase All-Star Goalkeeper in 2010 … Played for the USSF Pre-Academy U15 NY Cosmos that placed first in the league and fourth in the nation from 2010-2012.
 
Personal: Born Jan. 18, 1996 … Has two siblings, Connor and Kylie … Member of the National Honor Society in high school and ranked in the top 1% of his graduating class … Intends to pursue a degree in science or medicine … Class of 2018.

Ainscough on Oliver Roberts: Oliver played at Albertson in New York in the academy league. His team went to the National Championship which shows us he was at one of the top teams in the country last year and he was one of the best goalkeepers coming out of it. So now we think we have four really quality goalkeepers that are going to make it difficult for me to make a choice as we go forward in the goalkeeping spot.
