Biography

2009-10: Indoors, started the season with a second-place mark of 4.71m in the pole vault at the Jay Carisella Track & Field Invitational…Recorded an IC4A-qualifying mark of 4.85m in the pole vault for second place at the Harvard Open…Picked up his first win in the pole vault with an IC4A-qualifying mark of 4.80m (15’9) at the Battle of Beantown.

2008-09: Redshirted the indoor season...outdoors, opened the season with a fourth-place finish in the pole vault at the Seahawk Invitational...second at the Husky Spring Invitational...sixth in the 'B' section of the pole vault, clearing 16'0.75 at the Clyde Little Texas Relays...won the pole vault, clearing 16'2.75, at the CAA Championship...cleared 15'9 to place third in the pole vault at the New England Championship.

2007-08: Indoors, cleared 15'9 to place second at the season-opening Husky Winter Carnival...won the pole vault (15'5.75) at the Dartmouth Relays...won the vault, clearing 15'9, at the Reebok Boston Indoor Games...cleared 16'2.75 to win the New England Championship...outdoors, placed sixth in the pole vault (15'7) at the Florida State Relays...sixth in the pole vault (15'7) at the Florida Relays.

2006-07: Set the Northeastern pole vault record of 17'0.75 while winning the BU Multi-team meet on Feb. 5...began the indoor season with a win in the pole vault (15'1) at the Husky Winter Carnival...took third in the pole vault (16'2.75) at the Great Dane Classic...tied for second in the pole vault at the Reebok Boston Indoor Games...placed second in the pole vault at the Harvard Select Meet...runner-up in the pole vault (16'2.75) at the New England Championship...took fifth place in the pole vault (15'11) at the IC4A Championship...outdoors, won the pole vault (16'0.75) at the Snowflake Classic...finished second in the collegiate division of the pole vault, clearing 16'6.75, at the Florida Relays...named CAA Field Athlete of the Week on April 10...won the pole vault (16'0.75) at the Solomon Invitational.

High School: Competed in indoor and outdoor track for four years at East Lyme High...served as team captain one year...two-time All-American and All-State, three-time All-New England and 14-time All-League pole vaulter...set school and New England pole vault record of 16'1...set state indoor and outdoor championship records for pole vault (15'9)...set Eastern Connecticut Conference record for pole vault (15'6)...helped team to state championship in 2004.

Personal: Born April 27, 1988...Criminal Justice major...hopes to work for the Federal Government (DEA)...Class of 2011.
