- Took home first in the 100 Back (56.41) and 200 Back (2:03.01) at MIT (10/22)
- Earned a win in the 100 Back, posting a 55.72 against Rutgers (11/5)
- Set the pool record at the Terrier Invitational for the 400 Medley Relay with a 3:40.70 (11/18)
- Broke her own school record in the 100 Back with a win in the A final at the Terrier Invitational and had personal-bests in the 100 Free (51.94) and 500 Free (5:01.07) (11/19)
- Earned CAA Co-Rookie Swimmer of the Month honors (12/6)
- Got her eighth win of the season in the 100 Back at UNH with a time of 56.21 (12/10)
- Championed the 100 Back at the Tate Ramsden Invitational after touching the wall at 55.90 (1/21)
- Broke the Northeastern 400 Medley Relay record with a time of 3:38.78, earning Bronze at the CAA Championships (2/23)
- Took home bronze at the CAA Championships in the 100 Back with a 54.75 (2/24)
- Broke the Northeastern school record for the 200 Back on the final day of the CAA Championships, securing her 10th win of the season and a gold medal with a time of 1:55.87 (2/25)
Before Northeastern: Three-time letter winner at Druid Hills High School (missed one year because of COVID)… Best events in high school were the 100 backstroke, 50 freestyle, and 500 freestyle… Team won the CCSL Championship Meet in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017… Placed 2nd Team All-State in the 100 backstroke at the 2019 Georgia High School State Championship
Personal: Daughter of parents Susan and Steven Verlander… Has eight other siblings (Rachel, Ben, Sarah, Daniel, Rebecca, Joe, Jake, and Sam)... Achieved a time of 1:04.35 in the 100 backstroke LCM… Her best memories and performances include qualifying for the Winter (SCY) with a time of 55.16 and the Summer (LCM) Juniors with a time of 1:04.35… She intends to major in Mechanical Engineering
