- Clocked a time of 1:58.56 in the 200 back to earn All-CAA honors with a third-place finish at the CAA Championships (Feb. 19-22)
- Swam the fastest times of the season for the Huskies in the 100 and 200 backstroke
- Won the 200 back at the Terrier Invitational (Nov. 22-24) with a career-best time of 1:58.53
- Placed second in the 100 back at the Terrier Invite with a lifetime-best time of 55.66
2018-19:Â
- Finished third in her debut at the CAA Championships (Feb. 20-23) in the 200 backstroke with a season-best time of 1:59.32
- Earned All-CAA honors in the 200 back
- Tallied an eighth-place finish in the 100 back (56.51) at the conference championships, swimming a season-best time of 56.16 in the prelims
- Clocked a career-best time of 1:59.18 in the 200 back to win the event at the Terrier Invitational (Nov. 16-18)Â
Before NU: Smith attended Deerfield Academy where she played varsity water polo and swim & dive for four years... Served as captain on both teams her senior year... Swam for Schenectady Saratoga Swim Club year round... Earned Scholastic All-American Award in 2016 and 2017... Served as Deerfield girls varsity swim MVP in 2015 and 2018... Swam for the 2016 New England Prep School DI Swim & Dive Champions
Personal: Studying cell and molecular biology at NU... Wants to work in the medical field eventually... Enjoys traveling and theatre... Member of the Cum Laude Society at Deerfield Academy 2018... brother, Quinn Smith, swam at BU and graduated in 2018.
