Monica Patterson enters her third season with the Huskies for the 2017-18 campaign after completing her undergraduate degree at Cornell University in biology. As a swim and dive student-athlete, she was chosen for the Ivy League Championship team and posted numerous team top-ten ever times in the 100 and 200 freestyle.

Before Cornell, Patterson swam for both her club and high school teams in Andover, Mass. At Andover, she helped the team achieve 4 division 1 state championship titles, as well as a state title in the 200 free for herself. She was a scholastic All-American throughout high school and achieved an all-american time in the 400 medley in 2011.

Patterson also competed for Crimson Aquatics in USA Club Swimming. She was chosen to attend the 2008 Zone Select Camp and competed for the New England Swimming Zone Team, and also competec in four NCSA Junior National Championships.

Patterson is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in pharmacy at Northeastern.
